Frequently Asked Junk Removal Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know about our volume pricing, same-day pickup, and eco-friendly disposal.

How much does junk removal cost?↓

Pricing is 100% transparent and volume-based. Our minimum pickup price is $149 for a single item or small pile (such as a single mattress, small armchair, desk, or a few boxes). Our minimum truck price is $199 for a 1/8 truckload (approx. 1 pickup truck bed). From there: 1/4 truck is $399, 1/2 truck is $599, 3/4 truck is $749, and a full truckload is $899…3-person crew labor, and disposal/recycling fees are always included.

What is the difference between the $149 minimum pickup and the $199 1/8 truck price?↓

The $149 minimum pickup is designed for a single standalone item or a small pile (for example, a single mattress, small couch, desk, or 3–5 boxes/bags) that takes up minimal space. The $199 rate is our minimum truck volume tier, covering up to 1/8 of our large dump truck (about the volume of a standard pickup truck bed). Both options include our professional 3-person crew, free stair carry, and full sweep-up.

Can you really come the same day?↓

In most cases, yes. Call or request a quote early in the day and we will confirm the earliest window we have. For same-day service, booking by 12:00 PM gives the best availability.

How does the Same-Day or $50 Off guarantee work?↓

If you book by 12:00 PM for same-day service and we cannot make it that day, we take $50 off your job total.

What’s included in the price?↓

Labor, loading, hauling, disposal and recycling fees, stair carry, disassembly and sweep-up. Your upfront price is confirmed on arrival, before we lift anything.

What can’t you take?↓

Hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, medical waste, propane tanks and fuel. We’ll point you to the right King County hazardous drop-off facility if you’re unsure.

Do I need to be home?↓

Not always. If your items are outside, in a driveway, or easily accessible, you can leave instructions and pay securely over the phone.

Can you take items from upstairs, a basement or a garage?↓

Yes. Stair carry from any floor is completely free.

What happens to my stuff?↓

We donate what is usable to local charities, recycle metals and materials, and dispose of the rest properly.

How do I get an exact quote?↓

Send photos through our quote form or let the crew inspect the items on arrival. You always approve the price before any lifting starts.

What forms of payment do you take?↓

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, and corporate checks upon completion.

Do you serve my area?↓

We serve Seattle, the Eastside, and the areas listed on our Service Areas page. If yours is not listed, call us to check.

How do I prepare for a pickup?↓

You don’t need to carry anything out; we do the lifting. Just make sure the items are reachable: clear a path to them, or move them to the garage, driveway, or curb if you won’t be home. For apartments, reserve the elevator or a parking spot if you can. Keep paint, chemicals, and other hazardous items separate, since we can’t take them. Have your phone nearby for the call-ahead, and send photos if you haven’t already so we can confirm your price faster.

Can the final price ever be higher than the initial estimate?↓

Only if the actual volume is significantly larger than originally described, or if the load contains heavy dense materials (like concrete, brick, dirt, or tile) or regulated items with mandatory disposal fees (such as refrigerators with freon). Our crew always confirms the final, all-inclusive price before touching a single item. If you choose not to proceed, you owe us nothing.

Do I need to tip the junk removal crew?↓

Tipping is completely optional and never required. Our crews receive fair wages and pride themselves on careful, professional work. However, if your crew went above and beyond with multiple flights of stairs, heavy lifting, or sweeping the space spotless, a tip of 10%–20% is always appreciated.

What if I live on a steep hill, narrow street, or have limited parking?↓

No problem at all. Our drivers and crews navigate Seattle’s steep hills, narrow residential streets, and tight alleyways every single day. We safely utilize loading zones or legal street parking, and we never charge extra for stair carry, steep driveways, or longer walks.

Are you open on holidays and weekends?↓

Yes! We operate 7 days a week, including weekends and most major holidays. Our dispatch and crew hours are Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM and Sunday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Same-day service is available on weekends and holidays when booked before 12:00 PM.
